Material List Pro is designed to be used in a network environment in order to leverage the shared data from the database.
The following files should be located on your network:
Database File(s) – (tables for parts, vendors, manufacturer-to-vendor map, projects, etc.)
Global Configuration File (Config.xls)
Templates for the purchase order documents
The paths may look something like this:
\\your-server\autocad_stuff\Material_List_Pro\Database
\\your-server\autocad_stuff\Material_List_Pro\GlobalConfiguration
\\your-server\autocad_stuff\Material_List_Pro\PoTemplates
It is preferred that the path be a fully qualified path and that mapping to a drive letter is not used. If drive letter mapping is used, it will be necessary for the drive letter to be mapped to the same value for all users.
